How old do you have to be to attend Playlist LIve?

There are no age restrictions to attend Playlist Live. If you are under 18, make sure to talk to your parents and then head over to the tickets page to register! If your child is under five years of age, he or she do not need a ticket to the event.

Are we allowed to bring bags?

For your safety, when attending Playlist Live, we suggest you bring a clear plastic bag so that you can get through the search lines quickly. Backpacks and large purses WILL BE SEARCHED and WILL DELAY your entry to the event.

When considered necessary by Building Management or Playlist Live, a visual or full search will be conducted by Event Security. All guests and/or show personnel may be subject to search prior to entering the event space.

A visual search may consist of the following: the guest being asked to open any coat, bag or containers of any type. Security will visually scan all guests as they enter the facility for contraband noted below. The guest will be asked to dispose of the item(s) prior to entering the facility. Guests may be turned over to the Orlando Police Department if item(s) of an illegal nature are discovered.

A full search consists of the following: the guest being asked to open any coats, bag or containers of any type and also being physically patted down or screened with a metal detector. If contraband is detected, the guest will be asked to dispose of the item(s) prior to entering the building. Guests may be turned over to the Orlando Police Department if item(s) of an illegal nature are discovered.

What do I need to pickup my badge?

To pick up your badge at registration, you will need your confirmation email AND a photo ID. Your school ID, driver’s license, and identification cards will be acceptable forms of identification.

If I do not have an ID, what can I do?

The adult on your order will need to show their photo ID at Registration in order for you to pick up your badge.


What kind of Pass should I get?

Read about our different tracks and programming and see which ones look best to you!

Community Pass (Saturday and Sunday): Gives you access to the Community Track, which includes meetups with our featured creators, Q&As, music performances, panels, challenges, games and much more. This pass is only for Saturday and Sunday programming and does not include access to programming on Friday.

Insight & Industry Pass (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): Gives you access to both the Insight Track AND the Industry Track. This ticket is for you if you want to learn more about the ins and outs of creating content and/or the business side of things. This pass gives you access to all three days of Playlist Live programming, starting on Friday morning.

The Weekender Pass (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday): Gives you access to everything the Community Pass does, plus entry into the Playlist Live Kickoff Show that happens on Friday night.

Premium Pass (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday): Gives you access to everything the Community Pass does, entry to and preferred seating at the Playlist Live Kickoff Show on Friday night, early access to pre-register for your meetups (before we open it up to everyone else) AND an extra surprise meetup on Friday night.

Parent Pass: Gives you access to accompany your child to any track. Does not include meetup selection or Kickoff Show access.

When is the last day to recieve a refund?

The last day to receive a refund is Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:59 PM EST. No refunds will be given after this date.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, as long as the event is not sold out! Please make sure to check our website and socials as we will post when we are getting close to selling out.

When and where do I pickup my badge?

When you arrive onsite, you will be able to head to regisration to pickup your passes. We will have registration information sent out prior to the event with exact details.

Do parents have access to all events with their child?

Yes, the parent pass will let you accompany your child to any track. It does not include meetup selection or Kickoff Show access.

If I purchase a ticket with merch, will I get it before the event?

Yes! You will receive your merch about a month before the event.

What is the new Insight & Industry Pass?

The Insight & Industry pass grants you access to 3 full days of Playlist Live programming via two tracks: the Insight Track and the Industry Track. Both tracks start on Friday morning.

I can't make it this year. Can I transfer my ticket to a future event?

Unfortunately, tickets are non-transferable between events.

I purchased a ticket from a friend or outside source. Can you honor this?

Your ticket must be purchased through our official Playlist Live website. We will not be able to guarantee or verify validity of any tickets purchased through outside sources.

Will we receive a ticket in the mail?

No. You will receive an email confirmation of your ticket purchase within a few minutes of your purchase.


How do I meet the creators attending?

When you register for your meetups, you’ll have access to meet the creators within it. If you spot a creator walking by, don’t be afraid to say hello, but be respectful!

How many meetups am I able to select?

Two meetups! One on Saturday and one on Sunday.

When will I be able to reserve my meetups?

We will have this information to you shortly!

If I have a Premium Pass and don't register by Friday, can I still select meetups?

Yes! You will be able to reserve your spot on Saturday with all other passholders. If you do not wish to reserve online, you are able to select from the open meetups once you arrive onsite.

If I do not reserve online ahead of time, am I still able to join a meetup?

Yes! You are able to select from the open groups once you arrive onsite at registration.

If there are two people under one order number, can we pick different meetups?

Yes! During the meetup reservation process at the top of the page, there is a button titled “CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE EACH ATTENDEE INDIVIDUALLY”. You can click that to register separately.

If my friend and I have two different order numbers, how can we make sure we get the same meetup?

If you have a different order number than your BFF, the only way you can be in the same meetup is if you both successfully register for that meetup. If you both need to be in the same meetup, coordinate with eachother and buy your ticket together on one order!

Is my parent able to come with me into my meetup?

Yes, parents are able to accompany their child to any meetup their child has registered for.

Can I arrive to my meetup late?

The best way to make sure you get a spot is to arrive on time. The doors will close to enter the meetup one hour after the scheduled start time.

What is the parking situation?

Valet & Self Parking is available at the Orlando World Center Marriott for a daily fee. We recommend you arrive by Uber / Lyft or getting dropped off so you can easily arrive at the event and avoid parking delays.

What are the food options at the hotel?

We will have a bunch of awesome Food Trucks on Saturday and Sunday during the event! The Orlando World Center Marriott will also have resturant options, as well as the Central Food Pantry. Be sure to check them out!

When is check-in and check-out?

You are able to check into your room at 4:00 PM and must check out by 11:00 AM.
